Neve quad BA 283 to service |
| Description |
Racked by Pro harmonics USA (not sure)
Custom designed four channel mic-pre/DI using fully refurbed Neve 183/283 cards from Vintage Neve modules. Each channel has Stepped gain pots, trim, 48v & phase reverse buttons. The DI section is made from JLM Fet DI cards.
Channels have either (im not sure wihich) original Marinair transformers on input & output sections as per the original 107 OR newer Carnhill output transformers ( input being the same Marinair). Has an external PSU so there is no hum in these channels. This is wired for 240v with US or Australian plug (I provide an euro plug)
Chanel 1 is not working, Chanel 4 as a peak when ure at 4O of gain. a pot is to fix (but usable)
Better servicing it, not used for several years so pots may be noisy at times and levels are very high as usual with vintage Neve |
