Model 700 Programmer
Excellent condition. S/N 96. Sequential Circuits’ programming box for mono-synths of the day using CV and trigger patching. And it has memory! Sequential began manufacturing the 700 before they released the Prophet 5 in 1978. This example was bought brand new by LA-based soundtrack and sound effects guru, Alan Howarth, in 1978 (refer The Prophet from Silicon Valley book by David Abernethy, page 210 of the print version).
It has resided in the present owner’s home studio for the last 20 years. And it still works! It has been used in conjunction with an original Model D Minimoog. Tested recently, and still going strong.
The mains cord and internal power supply is 115V rated, (a step-down transformer may be required, not included). A copy of the operating manual is included. A great collectors item. This and all the other Sequential items in this section were featured in the definitive book ‘The Prophet from Silicon Valley – the Complete Story of Sequential Circuits’ by David Abernethy.
They all come from David’s personal studio, and have been carefully shipped over from New Zealand to VEMIA on a shock-protected pallet, so that further shipping costs are reasonable.
