TRIADEX MUSE - overhauled, very good.
This was last purchased on VEMIA in 2009, when it had the following description (edited):
This is the first time we've had one of these extremely rare machines here (about 300 made in the early 70s), and I have to say it is far better and more interesting than I thought it would be. Very nicely made indeed - lovely wood on two sides of the prism, excellent little light-show from the LEDs in two shades of green, interesting patterns, and the possibility of using the sockets to interface with other equipment (actually with the right MOLEX plug cable it can be synced with one or more Muses). This is in extraordinary, almost new-looking condition. With the original, very informative user manual, price tag ($300, equating to about $2500 today), registration and warranty cards.
Since then it has been only used in a (non-smoking, no pets) home studio. It was recently overhauled and is in 100% working condition. A printed programming manual and circuit diagrams will also be included.
Serial number: 00188-105. Voltage: 115-125V (works fine on 100V) with US 2-pin plug.
The location is Japan, but as it is lightweight (about 4kg) shipping to the UK/Europe should be reasonable: approximately £25 surface, or £65 air, and slightly more to the USA.
NOTE - I am also selling two more Muses, one non-working (parts of it were used to repair this one), and one partially working - a kind of 'Muse project' with a much lower start price. See separate listing.
There are many videos on youtube showing what this fascinating device can do. Especially this seller's video, where these three Muses are shown playing in sync (narration mainly in Japanese)!
