Roland founder Ikutaro Kakehashi founded Ace Electronics in 1964, and this was one of their best products - later re-invented as the Roland TR-55. This example is re-badged Bentley Rhythm Ace for the British market (one of the few drum machines to have a band named after it). It has its original metal footswitch.
