 Description From Paddy Kingsland's studio, fully serviced in October 2024 ready for this auction. Our tech was amazed at how physically noisy the EIII is nowadays - the sound in the room from two fans and a very noisy hard disk all at different frequencies is almost impossible to ignore. So he solved this by replacing the original fans with Arctic silent versions, and the floppy drive with a ZuluSCSI system with a 32GB SD card. He disconnected the extremely noisy internal hard drive (now redundant because of the SCSI card). Planning to install a good library on the SCSI card. The EIII has 4meg, which is fine given the vast improvement in SCSI storage. He then greatly improved the old display with a new OLED. It comes with its original (meaty) Reference Manual and Tutorial.

This is one of the great vintage samplers - and so it should be at its huge original price. It also has an absolute design icon name logo (three horizontal lines followed by three vertical lines to show E III). And in this example it's also a joy to use - in seriously great condition.
