AG5 Funny Cat Distortion / Sustain |
Description |
One of the most extraordinary things Roland ever produced. The AG-5 Funny Cat Harmonic Mover / Soft Distortion Sustainer, to give its full name. From early days (mid 70s?) before they decided to set up Boss as a separate brand for pedals etc.. This example has a replacement knob but seems otherwise pretty much like it was nearly 50 years ago. Soundwise it defies description, really, but seems to be an envelope follower with subtle distortion / overdrive. If it had the two rusty nuts replaced this would be 'very good' cosmetic condition at least - bearing in mind it is getting on for 50 years old. Results can be extremely atmospheric. Packing at VEMIA 3GBP. |
