Linndrum s/n 055 (Paddy Kingsland) |
Description |
Serial number 055, 240V power - one of the very first Linndrums to be imported into the UK.
Still with its original manual and packaging! Beautiful cosmetic condition, probably because it spent a lot of time in its original box.
***The internal packing (green!) is all there but is looking as though it won't last more than another journey or two before breaking.***
Bought new in 1982 to be used by highly respected Radiophonic Workshop alumnus Paddy Kingsland at his studio in
Hammersmith during the 80s including 2 series of Dr Who (“Mawdryn
Undead” and “Frontios”), Around The World In 80 Days, Words & Pictures
and many other TV programmes. Also commercials and KPM library albums (highly praised by another VEMIA client as the best library music he ever used).
Thoroughly serviced in March 2024 - including a complete re-working of the power supply. The total servicing bill was £890.
VEMIA will cover the original carton in card to keep it in good condition: 6GBP. |
