CES ED-LAB 650 (Suitcase) |
Description |
This CES ED-LAB is a 'electronics trainer' used years ago for teching electronics.
This one comes as a portable suitcase model. It`s in perfect condition except I lost the cover.
The model 650 have a positive and negative variable dual power supply, meter, complete signal generator with sine-square-triangle output, coils, inductors, transformers, diodes, transistors, opamps, capacitors... and sockets for tubes, ICs and cards for expanding the system. Also potentiometers of different values, switches, lamps, photo cell and speaker. All in/outs are banana jacks. I use anothe pair of EDLABS with my serge synthesizer for waveshaping, filtering, and cv generation, for example controlling the serge VCOs with the photo cell for theremin sounds. I know other people using the CES with the modulars too. Also you can design you own 'modules'. The banana jacks are ready for interfacing with serge, modcan or cyndustries modulars but also can be used with other modulars with a banana-jack converter box or apropiate converter panels (ie. MOTM-940) |
