Description |
51GBP start price to beat. Surprisingly rare desktop / rack version of the Poly 800 - the world's first affordable polysynth (I should know, it was my first poly). A source of really nice analogue sounds, as long as you play within the constraints of its single filter envelope. Powerful eight-stage envelopes. Some great effects possible with its quirky built-in polyphonic sequencer, too. We've marked it 6/10 cosmetically, because there are a few little dings, and the front and back edges have lost much of their paint. But for an EX-800 it is actually very good - their all-metal construction is nice and solid but extremely liable to wear and tear, and they tended to be chucked into gig bags with other small metal items. This 8-voice analogue synth (4-voice in dual mode) comes with its original Korg UK PSU and a full copy manual including detailed MIDI and the settings of all the factory programs - in tiny print but legible. Packing 5GBP. |
