This is a very special Minimoog model D. You hardly will find one in such a wonderful shape.
Latest ver.. It is special because it is as if it has come out of a time capsule, in astonishing condition. Sound is amazing, THAT Moog sound.
It is all original, with some improvements: Midi Kenton (installation cost: 360£) http://www.kentonuk.com/products/items/sockets/moog/minimoog-retro.shtml
all of the bushings replaced with new ones, with a very smooth keyboard action. PSU recapped with new capacitors. VCO board trimpots replaced with precision multi-turn trimpots. The Mini has been calibrated and its tuning is rock stable. Naturally, periodical tuning is a duty for Minimoog owners, but this one, once calibrated, does not need anything unless you move it for gigging...
Aesthetically, IMHO it could be considered MINT, but let's say... near mint (it has no original box, sorry :-)
No visible nicks, dents, flaws either in the woodwork or in the panels. The woodwork has a nice color/satin grain. Switches are precise, operating with a definite 'click', no hesitations... The wheels are perfectly working, so everything does as it should. The yellow tag is inside.
What to say more?
It is THE Minimoog.
Local pick-up after every kind of test is welcome. Otherwise, the best would be shipping it in a flight case.
