 Make Premier
 Model Premier Symphony Timpani 1930s!
Description Wonderful Premier copper pedal timpani drum dating from 1930 or thereabouts (see 1930 catalogue https://www.drumarchive.com/premier/premier1930h2.pdf). 26” Symphony model which cost £66 back in 1930. That's about £5,000 today! A few dents and bruises but for a near 100 year old musical instrument it has survived remarkably well. And sounds fabulous too. I believe this is a balanced action system and the drum includes the Premier fan tuning gauge with all the original sliding plastic note markers intact. However, the rod/cable connecting the gauge pointer needle to the moving pedal mechanism is missing. Apparently quite common and a relatively simple fix. Included in the sale is an old wooden cover which I can't quite work out how to sit. And a brand new un-used Remo Timpani T1 head retailing at £70 ready to fit. Collection would be preferable. Delivery within the UK is possible (contact Vemia to discuss).
