Roland GR-300 MIJ guitar synth |
| Description |
Second generation early 80s analogue guitar synth system from Roland, used by notable artists such as Robert Fripp and Pat Metheny. The guitar is a G505 sunburst Strat copy (guessing 1981from serial no.) made by Fugigen and a really nice guitar to play with a brighter than Strat clean sound - great for pop recording or HiLife/Reggae vibes. The system works well other than one led lamp needs replacing on the Blue unit at some point (latch switch indicator). There are signs of wear and tear such as chips/dents on the guitar but nothing horrendous. One of the synth’s rubber feet is not original and the tremolo arm on the guitar is not original either. I also just noticed some slight wear to the outer sheath of the mains cable at the inlet and have bound with insulation tape - it should be easy enough to simply shorten the mains cable by an inch or two and re-terminate. Sale also includes the 24-pin cable. If this is sold before 2nd chance Sunday, I will arrange for my tech to replace the led and service the mains cable as part of the sale.
