A brilliant project to restore - Moog's courageous design of a polysynth that could be played like a piano but had many features of its modular synths, with amazingly versatile connectivity. Not one that you can imagine Behringer trying to re-create.
This looks internally more or less complete, except that it looks like the 2 HFO boards need to plug into the missing board that would be next to the PSU board. ***Actually, it may well be that there isn't a missing board - things just need re-connecting.***
It also has a chunk of its case at the rear right somehow missing. Luckily, the next lot is of a Polymoog that has been largely stripped for parts but has a good case. That one will be given at no charge to the winning bidder on this one.
This one, serial number 1556, clearly hadn't been played for many years. The sliders were actually stuck in the position they had sat in for decades, but started to free up with a little De-Oxit faderlube.
We haven't attempted to switch it on. Please check the photos carefully to see what you will get. UK or Euro IEC mains lead provided.
Packing with the other Polymoog in the next lot - ideally palletising if we can't deliver by hand - 60GBP.
