| Description |
Vintage ST&C 4038 microphone built for the BBC (Coles still manufacture this design). Rarer 30 Ohm version specified for Outside Broadcast. Road worn but works perfectly. Included with microphone is a lead with original 4038 connector AND a very rare BBC-wound 30:300 Ohm transformer (sorry not photographed) which was specifically designed for this version of the 4038. The transformer will also lift other low ribbon and dynamic impedance microphones so it is a very useful studio tool. Note that a special BBC microphone stand 4038 adaptor is listed in a separate lot. |
