1925 Multifilter+ Hideaway breakout |
| Description |
Incredible General Radio 1960s multifilter, one-third octave, 25Hz - 20kHz, with beautiful stepped controls providing, according to the literature, 50dB of gain control for each band, in 1dB steps, accurate to 0.25dB. Some users choose to have the stepped control removed - not difficult to do - but its accuracy and lockability seems really useful for subtle and repeatable control of timbre or frequency response. And if you can't afford a Fairlight, here's a cheaper way to get a unit with an actual lock and key in your studio. Hideaway has modified one or two examples of this unit, and has produced a breakout box for this one, with individual outputs on 1/4 inch jacks. Packing 18GBP. |
