The DSS-1 definitely had its drawbacks, and maybe wasn't a huge success for Korg - but if you like 12-bit sampling, analogue filters with resonance and an inbuilt digital delay, and now a more reliable storage medium in the form of a USB stick.... this is your (rather large) baby. Cosmetically its finish is not the easiest to photograph - OK, it looks good from the side, but from the front it's a bit grubby looking, and it has a little burn mark above the joystick.
Very big and heavy, and needs a 2-pin rectangular mains plug (UK lead supplied): packing 24GBP. |
