Kraftwerk 1978 Man Machine Poster |
| Description |
An original French promotional poster for the release of the 1978 LP 'Man Machine', measuring approximately 40 x 60 cm. The poster has always been stored in a cardboard tube, protected from light and rolled up, and was never hung on the wall. If at all, there a tiny little creases but hardly noticeable (closer to Mint than to Very Good, actually). It comes from the collection of a well-known musician who was closely associated with the band. This is likely to be the last copy of this poster available in the open market after the estate of the above-mentioned musician was liquidated. The last remaining copies were sold at prices between US$1,500 and US$3,000 (plus 28% commission, shipping, customs, and taxes on top for international shipping). Since this item was handed over personally to someone very close to the band (who passed it on to me some 22 years ago), there is no certificate of provenance but rest assured this poster is from the same lot mentioned above. Will be shipped fully insured at its actual value but solely at the buyer's risk -- this is going to be fairly expensive so please bear this in mind when placing a bid. |
