 Model Analog/Digital Associates STD-1
Description One of the most sought-after of rack effects - and like many of the rarest and most wonderful, not a commercial success. Reviewers in the early 80s were unimpressed with the total delay time (when digital was far 'better'), and it took a long time for people with a more explorative mind to realise that this is a fairly unique device - on the way to the status of classics like the Marshall Time Modulator. Maybe if A/DA hadn't called it an STD it would have had more success at the time. (Actually, it was also extremely expensive in the UK (799GBP by 1985, equating to over 3K GBP today.)

Anyway, STD - Stereo Tapped Delay - is what it is - and by tapping into BBD chips they achieved results slightly different from every other technology - sometimes subtle, sometimes (with regeneration) less polite - and all with CV control of sweep and delay.

This is the 120V US version, and is in really fantastic condition. VEMIA can collect and pack (9GBP).
