***LOWER START PRICE !*** This example of the earliest aural exciter, serial number 602-394, was imported into the UK about three years ago at a cost of approaching 5000GBP. It's very much a crucial part of popular music recording history - the first units by Aphex were actually only available to rent annually at a pretty high price, because the effect was so sought-after and so mysterious at the time. They also worked on a royalty basis - payment-per-minute of recorded music using the Aural Exciter. It looks a bit tatty, with the front panel fascia coming away a bit at the left, and the rack ears looking their age. But it could easily be refurbished - the important bits are good. It is switchable power, but currently has a US mains plug. ***Now checked and in good working order.*** Packing 12GBP. |
