The mothership. The quality of the keyboard is still outstanding and stands unmatched to this very day. It can be used as the ultimate piano style midi controller, but of course it has its own sounds which still have a certain something to them which modern workstation do not have. This unit has all sound blocks.
Now for the not so good news. The unit has been working fine for a number of years, but when I played it yesterday, I could detect a smell of something being wrong with the electronics. The keyboard was still working, but I had to switch it off and didn’t risk to switch it on again. Therefore, it needs to be checked and very likely repaired.
The unit is very clean and visually nice so it would make a great addition to any studio. Comes with its original stand and the power supply, which contains the pedals.
Important notice: This unit is quite large and will be very difficult if not impossible to ship because it exceeds the size limits of regular couriers and I don’t have a box large enough to protect it. It therefore needs to be picked up in Cologne Germany.
