| Description |
Listed as 'modular' - but it's a semi-modular, 4-voice paraphonic synth, or mono synth, with on-board effects (reverb, delays, phaser, flanger, chorus), internal sequencer and interpolator (innovative design where sequencing can combine morphing of the oscillators, filter, LFO and envelopes), with patch memories. Very useful multi-mode filter (LP, BP, HP), with digital and analogue filter circuits. Good connectivity including midi (front and rear) for this to be the centre of your modular universe.....and it sounds wonderful and is built like a tank. Version 2 firmware with version 1 livery. This is the more expensive desktop version which can be rehoused in a eurorack case by simply disconnecting from the internal power bus and removing from the case. The case does however provide benefits for connectivity, e.g., the 1/4 inch jack inputs to run any external signal (mono or stereo) via the effects section. A future classic? |
