Keyboard magazines 1975-2018 (504!) |
| Description |
This is an amazing near-complete set of Keyboard magazines, printed in the USA and imported to UK. There are over five hundred magazines in total.
We think there is just one magazine missing from the first couple of decades, and possibly a few more from later on.
(I realised that I would never have time to do the photos because I would keep on seeing interesting articles, so I got our warehouse guy to photograph them, and forgot to get him to check for any missing copies in the later decades.)
This iconic title started as Contemporary Keyboard in 1975, soon transitioning to just plain 'Keyboard' soon after. The last year of its run saw it amalgamate with Electronic Musician. The definitely missing mag is Contemporary Keyboard Nov/Dec 1975 - it started as a bi-monthly publication. Probably fairly easy to put out a search for that one issue. This collection spans 44 years, and we think contains 504 issues. Practically all of them are in excellent condition, most of them near-mint at least. One or two are not so good, and many have the COMAG import sticker on the bottom left of the front page. As well as great reviews and interviews, and columns by people like Bob Moog, I really like the adverts - many of them good enough to be framed. We estimate the shipping weight will be as much as 160kg - packing 60GBP on a pallet if we can't deliver by hand. |
