 Make Korg
 Model 770 early monosynth
Description The Korg 770 Vintage Synthesiser is a vintage synth from 1976. It's known for it's unique sound and controls names that pre-date the standard names, for instance the Traveler is the name for High Pass and Low Pass filter and Singing level for Sustain. It has 2 VCOs that can be mixed together with the central mixing knob. The first VCO has many of the standard controllable parameters. high & low pass, wave shape, resonance, LFO ect, ect. But it is the second VCO that helps it make some weird noises. This is largely due to its 2 ring modulators white and pink noise functions. You can also run external sounds through it. it is incredible the amount of character it has for a synth of this age. A pleasure to play, and the perfect instrument for people wanting to make Cold Wave, EBM and experimental music. The controls lend themselves to live twiddling. It's fully functional, and has been recapped and had the Kenton Hz/V Gate Filter mod installed by the Synth Prof in Suffolk UK, some 10 years ago. She still takes 30 minutes for VCO 2 to warm up and while warming she makes some crazy noises. The cosmetic condition is as seen, I've not tried to clean her or fix her as the patina is something that is impossible to fake. she's obviously seen a lot of action. I've built a flight case for her which i will use for shipping, if collection is not possible. I really hope she finds the right home where she continue to make interesting and exciting music
