Vintage Reslo microphone from Beatles / Cavern era early 60s - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nMDUXSHEG0 for background info. These ribbon mics were really designed for studio more than live use - especially home studios, as tape recording took off in a big way. But as the ribbon gave a figure-of-eight pattern they could be used by two singers singing obliquely across the mic (as John and Paul used to do so memorably) - This example is switched, and has a good XLR lead. Working but like all mics of this age (over 60?) could do with a service. Packing 6GBP. |
