This massive modular was sold at VEMIA in April 21, but due to a combination of circumstances - Covid, Brexit, and family crises - it has sat in its cabinets in the VEMIA warehouse ever since. The buyer has finally decided that the sensible thing to do is to offer it back for auction. It was well serviced in May/June 21 at VEMIA but has not been touched since until we photographed it just now.
Please check the photos for what is included. There are a lot of useful modules from modern 5U makers like dotcom, MOSLab and Yusynth, which make this a fully functional sequencing modular, but the main interest has to be the array of early R.A. Moog modules. This seems to be a pretty much complete R.A. Moog IIP, with three additional envelopes converted to 1/4 inch triggers, and a couple of other rare modules.
The early Trumansburg R.A. Moog modules include: 911 Envelope (s-trig connector replaced with 1/4 inch), 902 VCA, 903A Random signal generator, 905 Reverb, mixers x2, CV Switch banks (not connected). 904-B HPF, 904-C Filter coupler, 904-A LPF, 902 VCA, 902 VCA, 984 four channel mixer, 911 Envelope with s-trig, 911 Envelope with s-trig, power supply, Trigger connectors/ CV switches ( 1 CV switch has end snapped off, 2 bulbs need replacing), 907 Fixed filter bank, rare Filter and attenuator, 911 Envelope (s-trig replaced with 1/4 inch), 901b VCO, 901a VCO controller, 901b VCO, 901b VCO, 901b VCO, 901a VCO controller, 901b VCO, 901b VCO, 901b VCO.. CV switches/mixers x2 all working..
Later Moog modules: 911 Envelope ( s-trig connector replaced with 1/4 inch), rare Sine Converter, Moog Triple quad multiples. Plus the two dotcom sequencers etc etc. The Moogerfooger voltage unit enables the included Roland System 100m keyboard to control the Moog. Cabling is included as seen.
The modules look in beautiful condition. The cabinets all have their lids in good condition, and are solid, complete, and un-damaged. One or two of the cabinet backs are not original and have unmatched or missing screws.
Because it was sitting for four years in its cabinets, no doubt some pots may be scratchy, and some calibration will be needed. If you want, our tech can do that cost-effectively given enough time after the auction (rough worst case estimate 1000 - 1500GBP) - or you can get your tech to do the same after arrival. We think there is no reason why the rich and powerful 901s can't be calibrated to stay in tune over four or five octaves (at the 8' setting). Changing the octave switch will lessen the range.
We will palletise this (90GBP) for courier delivery or can deliver in many parts of the UK.
