Akai MPC3000 Special Edition Bought by me new, and never used: I would take it out every few years to see if my workflow had changed in the MPC direction but it never did, so back in the case it went. The Special Edition was manufactured fully expanded, as a tribute to Roger Linn. This one is numbered 226. I very much doubt there’s a better one out there. The screen is bright, and apart from a 1cm light scuff on the rubber side panel it’s in exactly the same condition as when it left the factory. I threw the box away but kept the original polystyrene mounts as they fitted, with the MPC held inside, exactly into a flightcase I had. A flightcase that never left the studio! Sold now with that flightcase, with the original manual and the few floppies it came with.
