| Description |
Colorsound must have made 30 or 40 variants on the Wah-Wah. This, it seems, is one of the rarest. Unlike 95% of their other wahs, this has both instrument and amplifier sockets on one side of the casing. It seems possibly to date from the late 70s, and the whole look of the pedal gives the impression they were aiming to reduce cost. No chrome around the outside of the pedal, lots of plastic parts, and a nasty logo (which has fallen off (no loss). But if it sounds good..... sometimes cheaply-made things (like the Fuzz Face) end up very good. This looks like it was £25 new (from the writing on its generic white box). Unusually, little dimples on the side of the casing hold the bottom in place (rather than bigger slots at the ends). Complete with an invoice for servicing it later in life (in 2012). Packing 3GBP. |
