Y632U/CC stereo 1/2 track deck a/s |
| Description |
Most of these old Ferrographs' main use is as a tube pre-amp or basic tube echo machine - but this model is stereo half-track, and so it has possibilities for mastering as well. In fact Wreckless Eric's 1990 At The Shop! record was recorded entirely on an identical machine running at 7.5ips. See https://spheremusic.com/Bargaindtl.asp?Item=27438 for some exact examples of tape to use on this machine. It uses a Bulgin mains lead, not included. This Y632 U//CC model was a special order for the armed forces, and built into a rugged metal case with a good rubber seal. Consequently very heavy, so packing will be 24GBP. |
