VFM 16-8-2 mixer for restoration |
Description |
**Now with printout of the detailed July 83 E&MM magazine review.**
Trident are one of the most famous names in vintage mixing consoles, and while this was their budget range, aimed at the burgeoning personal studio world in the 80s, it still had some serious qualities (if you weren't expecting state-of-the-art no-expense-spared gear like their top-end mixers). For a start it was modular - almost unique at this end of the market. Plus the EQ had lots of fans. This 16-8-2 example, serial number 314, is in generally very poor cosmetic condition, with rust evident, for instance on screws, the XLR socket release thingies, and very much on the back panel. It has nearly all its knobs, switches and slider tops. It is completely untested, sold AS SEEN. You'll need your own IEC mains lead (switchable voltage). Packing 30GBP. |
