 Make Ppg
 Model 1020
Description Ulra rare PPG 1020 in superb condition, sadly need to sell to raise funds for another project. Only 30 made, around 1975 during production of PPG Modulars. 2 Oscillators with fat classic Waveforms ( saw, square, pulse and a wondeful triangle for basses) but also an unusual waveform and noise. Ring modulator. One LFO. Oscillators can be cross modulated in audio range for FM effects. Fliter is a fat classical 24dB/Oct Moog design with resonance and sounds as good an early Minimoog D. 2 ASR Envelopes, very fast and snappy which makes this beast an ideal partner for sequencers. CV/ Gate/ Filter normalized inputs on the rear will work with most sequencers. 2 audio outputs on rear with various sound paths options. Technically speaking this synth works 100% and all board have been fully recapped recently to ensure troublefree years of use. During recapping we could see that all boards were analog, well designed and very maintenance friendly, an we noticed that W Palm improved somewhat from the original 1002 model by introducing a keyboard decoder (using very basic IC and design) to ensure better tuning stability and an instant transposing function from the keyboard itself when playing a sequence. Please see Youtube demos how incredible this beast sounds !
