Echo Reverb Machine 2000 |
Description |
Very rare German tape echo machine from the 70s - we've only known about two of these machines coming up for sale ever. This example has a rather tatty tape compartment cover, and some oxidised case hardware, but is otherwise pretty good, and actually very pleasing to look at.
It has been checked for this auction and is functioning well, except that the meter isn't working. That isn't to say it sounds anywhere near as clean as a good Space Echo, though - the technology just isn't up to that. But vintage character, and no doubt used by some of the masters of German electronic music in the early 70s.
