 Model JP-8 Jupiter-8 Paddy Kingsland (RW)
 Description Early Jupiter 8 Synthesiser, one owner from new, with original manual. Thoroughly checked for this auction. Serial number 131141, with Highest Note CV and Gate outputs. Bought new in 1982 by Radiophonic Workshop alumnus Paddy Kingsland and used at his studio in Hammersmith during the 80s including for two series of Dr Who (“Mawdryn Undead” and “Frontios”), Around The World In 80 Days, Words & Pictures and many other TV programmes. Also commercials and KPM library albums. [VEMIA note: library albums described by another VEMIA client as 'simply the best'] Later used on live shows by the touring band Radiophonic Workshop from 2009. Festivals included Number 6, Blue Dot, Bestival, End of the Road, Leaf, Womad, Commonwealth Games and Glastonbury. Sturdy custom made Radiophonic Workshop flight case in a later lot (27214)- ideal for hand delivery, gigs, storage etc, but VEMIA will pack and ship the JP-8 separately if sent by courier - far safer. Packing 25GBP.
