JX-3P with modded MIDI OUT switch |
Description |
Nice example of this quirky classic, the odd one out in the series of vintage Roland synths, and of course one of the first MIDI synths ever. Judging by the serial number (326856) this was made in July 1983 - just four months after its launch. So as well as sounding great it is historically interesting. It has a neatly done mod - a switch and LED on the right end cheek which seems to switch MIDI OUT on and off. Probably to deal with an issue with the early MIDI - we aren't sure what. New replacement battery, all good. Packing 12GBP. |
