| Description |
Very nice condition delay from c.1978, with maxed out memory (6.4sec at 7.5kHz - massive for the era) and external delay control socket option. Originally main purpose was as a profanity delay. If someone swore you could press the lovely big DUMP button. The brilliant catch-up system would then rebuild the safety margin. But as Eventide said, 'it doubles as a production effects tool, providing delay times ranging from 6.5ms up to the unit's maximum.' The external delay control socket must add greatly to the usefulness of this machine for that purpose. • Top lid removed for detailed visual inspection and internal clean
• NB: External delay control socket option present
• NB: 6.4 Second (7.5Khz) delay memory option fitted
• NB: Unit in mostly factory original condition bar evidence of past PSU bulk capacitor replacement
• Rear panel labeled for 240V operation
• Missing power switch button replaced
• Delay memory tested with sine wave – no memory errors appear to be present
• Unit reassembled with a new set of black UNC screws and some minor cosmetic improvements
• Unit powered and all functions tested present
NB Unlike a tattier version advertised on Reverb for $1K a few years ago, this has the full memory option and external delay control, for more creative delay effects. Plus it is guaranteed to work. Plus it has a printout of the manual (user and service info).
