DX-1 ultimate FM synth- poly AT etc |
Description |
One of the all-time classics, and undoubtedly one of the rarest, too! The ultimate FM synth, with great visual programming aids, and the best keyboard by far - superb action, seventy-three wooden keys, and polyphonic aftertouch. This example has been thoroughly checked and is ready to roll. It has now been given the wonderful Hypersynth Hcard-705 set of cartridges, giving a more-than-10-fold increase in program storage and, among other things, a neat two-digit display for each cartridge. http://www.hypersynth.com/Hcard_705.html . This is US voltage, and if it is sold anywhere except the US, we will include a high-capacity UK-US voltage mains transformer. Either way it will have the necessary non-standard rectangular mains lead. Cosmetically, it is good but could definitely be improved if you look closely. There are some smudges and small marks on the panel, a lot of minor marks on the wood endcheeks etc., and a couple of missing pieces of veneer on the endcheeks. All the wood blemishes could be dealt with easily by a competent furniture restorer. Still a seriously beautiful instrument. It's so massive that we would insist on palletising it (50GBP) unless we can deliver by hand. |
