 Model Prophet 10 with MIDI
Description Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 Synthesizer I bought this Prophet 10 in 1998. It has been located in my home studio exclusively since then. This Prophet 10 has the front-mounted Exatron Wafer Drive, which imho makes it the better looking version than the later Braemar drive units, which had the drive mounted in the side panel. It has been retrofitted with the original Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 MIDI Kit, as it is sold by Wine Country. This modification disables the Exatron drive and onboard sequencer permanently. However, you are supposed to use the MIDI Interface for patch dumps and sequencing anyway. Internally this Prophet 10 has been fitted with the latest Revision Mainboard (Rev1). So no Rev0 (ugly Mod) Mainboard here! This Prophet 10 is in excellent cosmetic condition, fully calibrated and 100% working. The wooden side panels and front panel are very clean. The Keyboard is fully functional, the keys are very even and do not show common 'teething' troubles. On the left side of the front panel you can see a black label explaining how to access the Extra MIDI functions. If you do not like it, you can easily peel it off. This unit comes with the Operating manual and complete Prophet 10 Service Documentation by Stanley Jungleib. Item location is south west Germany. VEMIA should be able to organise collection for delivery in most of north-west Europe, or if necessary packing and shipping.
